Statue in Caesarea at Sunset - Open print edition
Open Edition Print — from $6 USD
I couldn’t get over the way the sunset hit this old Roman statue—tucked into the stone like it had been waiting there for centuries. There’s something surreal about finding ruins like this in Israel, where ancient Rome meets the Mediterranean and every rock seems to whisper a story.
This little oil study ended up becoming one of my favorites. Something about the light, the stillness, the sense of time standing still—it all came together in a way that surprised me.
Available Sizes & Pricing:
Postcard (4x6") — $6 USD — Printed on 324gsm premium Mohawk card
A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) — $36 USD
A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) — $72 USD
(All larger prints are giclée printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper)
Painted on location in Caesarea—once a major Roman port and now a hauntingly beautiful ruin by the sea—this piece is a quiet reflection on how history and landscape meet in the golden light of Israel.
