An heirloom made while you dance.

Live painting at your Simcha.

Painted live in Israel, by hand, with oil and joy.

What is a live wedding painting?

A simcha is full of fleeting moments.
The hug before the chuppah. The way your partner looks at you. That one cousin doing the hora like it’s an Olympic event.

I paint those moments as they’re happening.

Brush in one hand, palette in the other, I set up quietly at your wedding—or bar mitzvah, or anniversary—and capture the emotion of the day in oil on canvas.

By the time your guests are going home, a one-of-a-kind painting is already taking shape. A memory you can frame. A piece of the simcha you can keep.

Most of the time, I paint weddings.
But I’ve also painted bar mitzvahs, backyard britot, and celebrations that didn’t fit into a box—but still deserved to be remembered forever.

What’s included

  • A live oil painting created during your simcha

  • A finished artwork (30x40cm or larger) made with archival materials

  • Optional pre-event call to choose your moment

  • Framing available on request

I paint your simcha live on-site, then take it back to my studio for final touches and varnishing—so it’s ready to display with pride.

Based in Tel Aviv, I travel for simchot across Israel—including Jerusalem, the Galil, and beyond. I also take a small number of international bookings.

Make the day even more unforgettable

“Avi Vofsi attended our nuptials and wove from our joy an enduring work of art. I cannot recommend him enough.”

The man on the left is smiling, wearing a black shirt, the man in the middle has glasses, is smiling, and holding a portrait of a woman with red hair, and the woman on the right is dressed in a floral dress with a head wrap, holding a portrait of a man with a hat. They are in front of a bookshelf and a decorative shelf with a vase of flowers.
  • Cindy and Eldad

“I’m literally speechless! 😶 It’s a masterpiece. Thank you to the incredible artist. Such a good decision to do this.”

Three people indoors, two are in clear focus - a man with dark hair and beard wearing a white shirt and overalls, and a woman with dark curly hair wearing a patterned dress, smiling and holding her face with her hands. In the background, another man is partially seen, talking or singing, with a blurred kitchen area visible behind them.

My husband and I had an army wedding in the Golan in December 2023. Avi's painting now hangs in our home as a beautiful reminder of that special day.
