Unit 106 near the Syrian Boarder
Open Edition Print — from $6 USD
This painting comes from a visit to an army base on the Syrian border. When we arrived, the soldiers were playing soccer—just kids, really. But beneath the laughter was a heavy stillness.
I grew up far from anything like this. Painting this piece was my way of processing that contrast—of youth and war, of play and waiting. It’s a glimpse into the lives of those holding the line while trying to hold onto their humanity.
Available Sizes & Pricing:
Postcard (4x6") — $6 USD — Printed on 324gsm premium Mohawk card
A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) — $36 USD
A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) — $72 USD
A2 (42 x 59.4 cm) — $144 USD

Part of HaAliyah, this painting reflects the strange normalcy of war—the tension in between moments, and the young people who carry it all.
