Your Wedding, Painted Live
Paintings captures what photography can't.
They preserve how the day felt: The atmosphere, the energy, the love. Created in oil and brushwork, just the way it's been done for centuries.
Ready to become the centerpiece of your new home.

What is a live wedding painting?
On your wedding day, I set up at your venue with my easel and oils. While you celebrate, I paint, preserving the intimacy and energy of the day in oil and brushwork.
By the end of the evening, your painting is already taking shape on canvas. I then head back to my studio to refine, varnish, and complete it with the same care and technique I use for gallery and museum work.
Based in Tel Aviv, I travel worldwide to paint weddings wherever your love story takes you.
Meet Avraham
I’m a classically trained oil painter whose work has been exhibited at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the National Portrait Gallery of Australia, and museums across Israel and the United States. In 2022, I was a finalist for the Archibald Prize, Australia’s most prestigious portrait award.
My gallery practice explores Jewish identity, memory, and resilience through the lens of European classical realism. Live wedding paintings allow me to engage with another side of that story, happiness and continuity, unfolding in real time.
Each painting is created with the same materials, standards, and care as my gallery work: slow, deliberate, and built to last for generations.

Let's talk about your wedding.
I accept a limited number of commissions each year so every painting can be created with care, focus, and unique craftsmanship.
Dates tend to fill quickly during summer and holiday seasons.
